Description

Marked 38-4 on the wrap flat (the keeper is also on the wrap flat)

One of the first things I checked on this rod was the reel seat spacer -- made of tiger stripe maple -- whose amber color came from a heat-treating process and which marks it as one of the rods that I worked on myself at Leonard fairly early in my rodmaking career

The rod boasts Leonard's red wraps and bright hardware with the "wedding band" style ring

Color preserved (unusual) golden brown wraps

This copy is unopened in its original wrapper
