The whisky lay resting in sherry cask for an impressive 46 years before bottling on the 26th of June 1992 at 40% abv
the 2012 Port cask has a dry yet sweet quality to balance out the oak spice that comes from the Oloroso and French Wine Casks
This quality light and floral spirit was aged firstly in an American oak refill barrel then finished for 14 months in an Ex-Oloroso sherry cask
This limited edition Aberfeldy 9 year old whisky was finished most unusually in brand new Scottish oak casks from Speyside
My score for it is 93 over 100
