which is painted a solid aqua

The back is papered over but it appears to me to be painted (in oil) on a thin wooden panel

Striking from every angle

I really love the make do matter of factness of this one

with that center weight helping to lend some force to the point of the pick when used to chip away at a block of ice

Sweet Old Painted Tin Folk Art Boats with Candle Holders For Floating oak which is painted a solidFound in Pennsylvania, and scratch made from tin, these painted boat forms with candle holders were I believe were made to float in a pond or lake, illuminated. And how nice it would be to for them to do that again! Pretty sweet though just set on a shelf now, or holding candles in the window or on the table. (They require candles a bit smaller than your average taper.) Lovely forms and great old painted surfaces, creamy white and plum and green. Each
