The sliding part on this old folk art climbing monkey toy is partially broken
and not fussy at all
Some irregularity to the glazing
which could hold a phone
completely concealing her head
Ornate Chip Carved Antique Tramp Art Frame, 1914-16 cast iron dog The sliding part on thisThis wonderful old frame has some loss around the edges of the heart on top, but it was so lovingly and labor intensively made (taking three years, from 1914 16!) that there was no way I could leave it behind and I'd put a photograph of my favorite person in the world inside of it! Some loss at the very top, and some small dings to the surface here and there, but a super warm patina, glass in the frame, and easy to slide on a photo from the back side.
