yugioh guardian cards Yu-Gi-Oh! Gate - SGX2-END01 - Secret Rare Guardian Sphinx Card Type Yu-Gi-Oh! - Guardian Archetype

Outside of Commander, you see the Planeswalker in dedicated Mono-Black Standard lists alongside Lolth, Spider Queen

Its status condition is shown by rotating the card 90 degrees clockwise

With a familiar Shadow the Hedgehog quote as flavor text, the Air Shoes card equips creatures with Haste like the Power Shoes, as well as Hexproof, meaning the card it is equipped to cannot be targeted by opponent spells or abilities

The Expanded format doesn't rotate, so cards only become illegal if they get banned - and compared to other TCGs, Pokmon doesn't ban things all that often

This seriously limits the playability of the card to a very specific niche within Commander
