Whenever a creature deals combat damage to you, its controller becomes the monarch. [3] You can become the monarch by playing a card that says you are the monarch, or by dealing combat damage to a player who is already the monarch

Considering you're already running a bunch more artifacts between ramp purposes and other Equipment you obviously want to include in your Equipment-themed deck, and you've got yourself a pretty heavy-hitting creature

That however leaves the deck a little unfocused with a planeswalker that does nothing to help you put cards in the bin

Raise The Palisade is the best option , as most of the time it is a one-sided board wipe

Opening worthwhile cards is also a plus, but the fact that cracking booster packs and jamming mini-games of Pack Wars with my son is the real reward
