What makes Rancor so powerful is that when the creature it's enchanting dies, Rancor returns to your hand, allowing you to enchant another creature and keep swinging

Honorable Mention #2 - Titan of Industry For seven mana you net a 7/7 reach and trampler, nice

There are much cheaper alternatives, after all, if you're playing with a Green deck: you can have an Allosaurus Shepherd, Destiny Spinner, or Prowling Serpopard for half mana or less cost than Chimil

The new creature's power is compared to the power of each other creature on the battlefield as the first ability resolves

4 Haste Haste is the ability to tap and attack the very same turn a creature gets into play
