Though this is not a lot of mana, getting one mana for free can be the difference between winning and losing

Making your opponents attack into your Tangle, or even better, a card like Obscuring Haze that gives you effective blocks while rendering attackers inert gives you a sneaky value engine

It's worth at least one fight per turn if you achieve a formidable board state, and it's a perfect pairing with Bello, Bard of the Brambles
