GHK-Cu half-life and blood clearance Plasma half-life: Approximately 30-60 minutes in circulation Varies by administration route Injectable: ~30-45 minutes Topical: Similar once absorbed (slower absorption though) Very short compared to some peptides What half-life means: Time for 50% of peptide to clear from blood After one half-life: 50% remains After two half-lives (1-2 hours): 25% remains After three half-lives (1.5-3 hours): 12.5% remains After four half-lives (2-4 hours): 6.25% remains Essentially cleared within 4-6 hours GHK-Cu clearance timeline: Why such short half-life: Small peptide (easily filtered by kidneys) Rapidly metabolized by enzymes Not designed for long circulation Acts quickly at cellular level then clears Learn peptide basics at SeekPeptides - explore what are peptides , how peptides work , and copper peptides GHK-Cu guide
