They utilized a fascinating nodeless construction of alternating dark and light strips of cane to produce a visually stunning appearance

The reel foot is slightly bent as you can see in the photos

Near mint condition. There is some very faint cosmetic wear in a few places, but it is minimal indeed. The reel couldn't have been fished much.
