Hardy Bros Ltd. / Nettleship & Co. 2" Hercules Fly Reel 13' and handleFor sale here is a finely preserved brass trade reel made by Hardy's shop in Alnwick, England for neighboring tackle maker "Nettleship & Co." David Slater was the likely maker. At a svelte 2 inches in diameter, the reel still functions smoothly and the majority of the bronzing lacquer finish still exists. Very fine indeed. Leather case not included. A superb addition to anyone's late 19th Alnwick collection!
