Koa Wood Hau'oli Starfish Earrings Moon This 925 sterling silver pendantThese 925 sterling silver hook earrings feature our original Hau'oli, or happy, starfish motif paired with Hawaii's own Koa wood. The engraving on this piece was done entirely by hand. Starfish, or Hokuhele, is a representation of the guiding star that will protect you through troubled waters. Poseidon extinguished the stars in the sky and made them fall into the sea in the form of little stars so that a young man could give them to his beloved. From
